"A hundred lives". This picture was nominated in the 2026 Monovisions Award competition in Architecture Category. It represents a building façade and a lot of balcony. It emphasize the contrasts between the proximity we have with our neighbours appartment and our different walk of life.

Caption : You wake up on a Saturday morning in a gray and contrasting world. Outside, everything is calm. You leave your dark room with only one desire : to feel this inner peace for as long as possible.

That's what I think when I look at this picture.

What strikes me about this photo is that it shows a duality between the closeness we share with our neighbors and the distance created by our different walks of life.
